    DVM

    Dr. Emily Schmidt was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. She completed a bachelor's degree in German from Michigan State University in 2005. She received her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Nashville Veterinary Specialists in Nashville, Tennessee, receiving further training in many specialties and emergency medicine. Dr. Schmidt is particularly interested in dermatology, feline medicine, and pain management. In her free time, Dr. Schmidt enjoys cooking, hiking, and traveling. She recently visited Asia for the first time, and hopes to return soon. Dr. Schmidt lives in New Haven with her two cats.

  • Kelly Ward

    DVM

    Dr. Ward was born in Brooklyn, NY but was raised on Long Island, she received bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Scranton in 2008. . Dr. Ward then traveled to the Caribbean island of St. Kitts where she attended Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Auburn University and received my DVM in 2012. Dr. Ward then completed a small animal rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City where she received advanced training in many specialties. Dr. Ward enjoy all parts of veterinary medicine though dermatology, internal medicine, and nutrition are her special interests. In her free time she enjoys taking her dog on long walks, reading, and spending time with her family.

  • Lynne Robbins

    VMD

    Dr. Robbins was born and raised in Middletown, CT. She received a bachelor's degree in Biology from Vassar College in 1994. She then spent a few years traveling nationally and internationally, as well as working for the Smithsonian Institution at the Conservation and Research Center in Front Royal, VA. She received a Master's Degree in Wildlife from Utah State University in 2000. She completed her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. Dr. Robbins then completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT, in 2005. Dr. Robbins has a particular interest in exotic medicine, dentistry and oral health, and dermatology, specifically regarding allergies. In her free time, Dr. Robbins trains in Kung Fu, spends time outdoors and traveling, appreciates new and exotic cuisine, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She shares her life with her cat, Lillah, and will be adding a parrot to their lives when the right one comes along.
